HOW IT WORKS
- The traveller purchases a share of a particular aircraft for a minimum of 50 flight hours/year.
- Predicted rates over the term of the share contract are used to establish fixed costs of ownership – the hourly-based fixed costs account for all operating costs (pilot training, maintenance, insurance, standard catering, engine program, pilot and crew fees, reposition flights, and other)
- The owner is only charged per hour that the aircraft is in flight
- Fuel pricing adjustments are added to or subtracted from the hourly transportation rate to compensate for fluctuations in the price of fuel
- Available from 50 hours/year up to 400 hours/year (50% ownership share), within the 800 flight hours/year available on each aircraft.
